In our jewelry, we usually use natural amber, ie the one that was obtained from nature and subjected only to mechanical treatment (such as cutting, grinding, polishing), which does not affect the internal structure of amber.

Natural amber has its own unchanged color and degree of transparency. Modified amber is most often subjected to additional treatment in an autoclave, which increases its cohesion and transparency. Other modifications may include color change and the formation of so-called scales in amber.
